Exam never end

Since my job hunting lasts for two months, I will try any opportunity if possible. I just completed enrolling the Civil Service Senior Examination by Ministry of Examination (考選部). There are over seventy kinds of jobs in 2008 exam, and educational administration is my choice.

You may wonder what the Ministry of Examination does. It is a subsidiary of the Examination Yuan (院) with respect to the other four Yuan: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Yuan. The Examination division is unique comparing to other countries. Ministry of Examination is responsible for the national examinations, including recruitment of goverment officials and professional certification.

Actually, the civil-service system began from ancient time in Chinese. The Sui (581-618) & Tang (618–907) Dynasties had developed a systematic examination system for official recruitment into the bureaucracy.

I took the Senior Professional and Technical Exam in physical therapy in 1997. Another year, I took the Civil Service Senior Exam in physcial therapy, but I failed. In 2000, I took the entrance exam of a graduate school. In 2001, I took an exam by Ministry of Education. Then, TOEFL and GRE are follow-up exams. Wow, I life is filled with exams!
